Project Details
At a critical early stage of growth, an innovative athletic wear startup partnered with us to gain the clarity and direction needed to solidify its market position, connect meaningfully with its audience, and successfully launch its first fundraising campaign. The founder set out to solve a real, underserved need: functional, well-fitting athletic wear designed specifically for plus-size kids and teens, built for comfort and movement without compromising on fit. Like many founders at this stage, translating that vision into a cohesive brand and go-to-market strategy required outside expertise to move quickly and effectively.
We began by conducting in-depth market and audience research, paired with the development of refined customer personas to clearly define who the brand needed to reach, parents and caregivers seeking better options for their kids, and how to communicate with them effectively. A comprehensive brand analysis uncovered strategic opportunities to strengthen positioning and differentiate the brand within the children’s apparel space.
Using these insights, we developed a targeted Kickstarter campaign strategy, crafting cohesive messaging, visuals, and outreach designed to build early momentum and community support. The campaign exceeded its fundraising goal, giving the founder the capital and validation needed to move forward with production and growth.
Beyond the campaign itself, we crafted an ongoing branding and marketing strategy designed to support the brand’s long-term growth, ensuring every piece of brand communication, from messaging to visuals, stayed aligned with the founder’s mission and resonated with its target audience of parents seeking better-fitting, functional athletic wear for their kids.
The result is a clear, compelling brand identity and marketing framework that not only exceeded its initial fundraising goal but continues to attract the right audience and build a foundation for sustained growth in a space that had long been overlooked.
