Long-Term Branding and Marketing Strategy and Education for Health Communications Consultancies

Project overview

We provided a health communications consultancy with a long-term branding and marketing strategy, including market analysis and audience persona development, alongside intentional, hands-on education on brand foundations, consistency, networking, and digital presence for a young founder navigating branding and marketing for the first time.

Project Details

We partnered with a health communications consultancy focused on bringing an equity and social justice lens to health communications work, an organization that also serves as a workforce development hub, creating pathways for young people to build communication skills through pre-professional opportunities. Our engagement began with a long-term branding and marketing strategy grounded in market analysis and audience persona development, giving the organization a clear understanding of who they needed to reach across both their consulting work and their youth development programming.

What set this engagement apart was who we were working with. The founder was a young entrepreneur, still early in building both her organization and her understanding of branding and marketing. Rather than simply handing over a strategy document, we made education a core part of the engagement itself. We walked her through the fundamentals of brand foundations, why consistency matters across every touchpoint, how networking supports organizational growth, and what a strong digital presence actually requires.

This educational layer meant the strategy we delivered wasn’t just a plan for her to hire someone else to execute. It was paired with the knowledge and confidence to understand why each recommendation mattered, giving her the foundation to make informed decisions about her brand and marketing long after our engagement ended, decisions that would shape both her consulting practice and the young people she serves through workforce development.

This work reflects something we care about deeply when supporting young founders: strategy is only as valuable as a founder’s ability to understand and act on it. Education and strategic planning, done together, set new organizations up for lasting success rather than a one-time deliverable.
